Making of Côte d’Amour – Introducing Anse Victorin

Immerse yourself in the world of Anse Victorin! With our first collection Côte d’Amour we aimed to pay tribute to the unrivalled beauty and glamour of the French Riviera. Find out all about the creation process of the Côte d'Amour collection and the beginning of Anse Victorin's journey of timeless elegance.

The Côte d’Azur has always held a special place in the heart of Anse Victorin founder Elena Brenner, ever since her first visit. She immediately fell in love with the elegant flair of the French coast and the natural beauty of the eponymous azure-blue sea.

It’s a place that bewitches you the moment you first set eyes on it. So it’s no wonder that each year the rich and famous flock to the glamorous seaside resorts between Monte Carlo and Saint Tropez to enjoy a bit of French savoir-vivre. The inspiration for the Côte d’Amour collection derives in large parts from the legendary beach clubs where icons like Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin used to spend their summers. From Le Club 55 to Loulou Ramatuelle, from the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc to the Carlton Cannes: the Côte d’Azur is the perfect place to experience an unforgettable summer – while being clad in exclusive and elegant beach couture!

Inspired by French savoir-vivre, Elena Brenner’s focus for her first collection was on uncompromising elegance paired with the lightness of summer. The fine fabrics are perfect for hot days and warm summer nights. The delicate yet powerful colour palette of this collection is reminiscent of the enchanting light of magical sunsets (and maybe the delicately shimmering rosé colour of exquisite Provencial wines).

The love for the Côte d’Azur is not only reflected in the name of the collection and in the clothing itself, but also in the campaign and lookbook. Legendary beach clubs, luxurious yachts and elegant hotels are the essence of a summer on the Côte d’Azur and therefore the perfect setting for the campaign for the Côte d’Amour collection.

The campaign and lookbook shootings took place at various locations all along the Côte d’Azur. We were lucky enough to have the exclusive Hotel Carlton in Cannes open their doors for us and let use their beach club as one of the main settings. The luxurious 5-star hotel is a home away from home for the world’s biggest film stars during the legendary Cannes film festival as well as illustrious guests all-year-round.
Côte d’Amour is a love letter to the summer on the French Riviera. . The collection comprises a total of 40 unique pieces for the perfect beach couture look: exquisite swimwear and airy caftans for relaxed days in the sun, elegant pants & tops for extended strolls on the promenade and extravagant dresses for glamorous summer nights.
